Henry “Hank” Folwell, 82, of Greenville went to be with his Lord and Savior and was reunited with the love of his life, Isabel “Miss Belle” Jones Folwell on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at home surrounded by his family.
Born in Millsap, TX, he was a son of the late Henry and Josephine McVay Folwell.
Hank was a faithful member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, and prior to moving to South Carolina, he was a member of New Zion Baptist Church in Williamsburg for over thirty years. Having been blessed beyond belief, he shared God’s message to many. Hank and his wife worked side by side as owners of Laurel Termite Control for over thirty years, caring for one another each and every day.
Hank’s memory will live on in the hearts of his children, Devra Burgess, Kathryn Free and husband, Kevin, Byron Folwell, and Valarie Evart; his seven precious grandchildren, Brandon Bakeman, Krystina Chapman and husband, Grayson, Joseph Bakeman, Paul Free and wife, Robin, and Danielle Bickley; five adoring great grandchildren; and five siblings, LaVerne, Nancy, Glenda, Pat, and Ron Folwell.
In addition to his parents and devoted wife of 49 years, Belle, he was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by the Reverend Doctor Joel Logan.
