Hilda O. Montjoy, 94, wife of Rudulph Montjoy, passed peacefully at home Sunday, September 11, 2022.

Born in Joanna, SC, she was the daughter of the late Boyce and Mary Gordon Oxner.

Hilda was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was an avid bridge player with all her friends, enjoyed working in the yard and gardening, canning, and taking trips to the farm on Sunday afternoons.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey “Jeff” Montjoy and wife, Kathy, and Mike Montjoy and wife, Kim; two grandchildren, Ashley Montjoy and Jay Montjoy; and niece, Vivian Davis Grice; great niece, Kate Borné; and her beloved dog, Stella.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Gordon “Whitey” Oxner, Pope Oxner, and Kate Davis.
