Irene Langlais, 67, of 782 E. Butler Road, died Saturday, December 12, 2009. Born in Fall River, MA, Mrs. Langlais was the wife of Albert Langlais, Sr., and the daughter of the late Victor and Emma Medeiros Ferreira. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. In addition to her loving husband, Mrs. Langlais is survived by two daughters, Dawn Chace of Greer, and Michelle Meneses of Simpsonville; two sons, Albert Langlais, Jr. of Alstead, NH, and Timothy Langlais of Mauldin; three grandchildren, Brittany Chace and Scott Chace of Greer, and Branden Meneses of Simpsonville; four brothers; two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Vigil will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown, with visitation immediately following. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Burial will be at Graceland East Cemetery. The family will be at the residence. Memorials may be made to United Hospice, 1626 Jeurgens Court, Norcross, GA 30093.
