Irma JoAnn Cripe, 84, went to be with the Lord Friday, November 17, 2023.
Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Dorothy Hubich.
JoAnn was a member of Mauldin Methodist Church.
JoAnn is survived by her two sons, Joseph Fogle and wife, Sherry and William Fogle and wife, Sandie; four grandsons, Bud Fogle of Thurmont, MD, Matthew Fogle and wife Paige of Flat Rock, NC, Tyler Fogle and wife, Hannah of Flat Rock, NC, Michael Fogle of Baltimore, MD; and granddaughter Allison Fogle of Baltimore, MD; three great-grandsons Ryder Fogle, Levi Fogle and Oakley Fogle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Alton “Al” Every and John “Bob” Cripe.
JoAnn graduated from Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School in 1956. She was employed by Maryland Metal Building Company and Mount Vernon Mills, Inc. in Baltimore, MD.
JoAnn moved to Mauldin, SC from Baltimore, MD in 1971. She has been a member of Mauldin Methodist Church and the Action Sunday School Class for over twenty years.
Her interests were traveling, playing golf, playing the accordion and spending time with family, friends and pet poodles, Maci and Laci. She was employed by Carolina Springs Golf Course and has been an Active Member of the Ladies Golf Association. She enjoyed making 6 holes-in-one over the years. She participated in accordion Sing-A-Long volunteer work at hospitals, nursing home and retirement homes. She also volunteered at St. Francis Hospital Gift Shop.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Mauldin Methodist Church. The Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. Her Burial will be in Mauldin Methodist Church Cemetery.
