Jack T. Chandler II

Sgt. First Class Jack T. Chandler, II, 80, formerly of 105 Acton Dr., Piedmont, husband of Anita Teufel Chandler, died September 2, 2009. Born in Commerce, GA, he was a son of the late Theodore Jackson and Frances Irene Hoover Chandler. Sgt. Chandler retired from the U. S. Army and was the owner of Commerce Advertising. He loved playing chess and pool with his brother-in-law and he attended Trinity Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sisters, Louise Arrowood, Charlotte Knight, Dorothy Boyle, Brenda Umbaugh, Kaye Litzinger, Gloria Harrison and Judy Cockrum; brothers, William T., Larry and Don Chandler. He was predeceased by daughter, Angela; sister, Eleanor Robinson; brothers, Ralph and Bobby Chandler. Visitation will be Friday, September 4, 2009, from 6-8 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial following at Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family will be at their respective homes.
