James Dennis Lark

James Dennis Lark, 73, of Piedmont, died Saturday, November 18, 2023.

Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Alton and Mattie Thacker Lark.

James served his country as a member of the United States Army. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved spending time with his grandson.

He is survived by daughters, Dawn Bell and Amanda Bartschat (Ben Cooley); grandson Ayden Cooley; brother, Ronald Alton Lark; sister, Bobbie Sue Nimmons; brother, Ernest Calvin Lark; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Allen Lark.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
