James “Jim” William Bryant

James “Jim” William Bryant, 82, husband of the late Mary W. Bryant, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022.

Born in Lyman, SC, he was the son of the late Paul and Juanita Gosnell Bryant.

Jim was a fun loving man that loved others and it was evident in the life he led. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and playing golf. Above all he valued his time spent with his loved ones, especially his late wife, Mary. Jim and Mary loved taking trips together and traveling wherever they could, when they could. He was a great man, wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Jim touched many lives and will be missed by each person that had the pleasure of knowing and loving him. His memory will carry on by his loved ones.

He is survived by three daughters, Marion Lynn Wightman (Kenneth), Belinda Ann Blout (Michael), and Sharon Stanley (Wade); six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Suber (Jim) and Wilda Henson (Dean); and a brother, Dean Bryant (Gail).

In addition to his loving wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Lee Marcengill; and a brother, Ronald Phillip Bryant.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Graceland East Memorial Park.
