Jamie Lynn Turner, 42, wife of Daniel Turner, died Friday, October 1, 2021.

Born in Simpsonville, SC, she was the daughter of Robert and Frankie Tollison.

Jamie was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church. She was a fun loving wife and mother who always went out of her way to help people. She was an angel and will be truly missed.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her daughters, Emma Turner and Laney Gum; brother, Steve Blackwell and wife, Amanda; and a sister, Kelly Bishop.

A visitation will be held Thursday, October 07, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast. The funeral service will be Friday, October 8th 2:00 p.m. at Hopewell United Methodist Church followed by burial in the church cemetery.

Jamie was my childhood friend in middle school. The news of her passing is devastating. Although I had not seen her in many years, I will always remember what a kind, loving person she was. She was beautiful inside and out. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of her family and friends.

Jamie, you are such a blessing in all of our lives. Your beauty, laughter, love for your husband, Daniel and your daughters Emma and Laney, Mama and Papa and Steve and Amanda and myself Jan and cousins and nephews and nieces. You never met a stranger and you are loved by so many. You are missed and we all will see you soon. Give everyone a hug from us I just know that Grandma and Grampa and Uncle Bill were there to greet you on the other side. I love you my beautiful sister ❤. I thank God he gave me you. Even when we disagreed, I felt you behind me every step of the way, praying for me and cheering me on. Psalms 55, if I had wings like a dove would I fly and be at rest. Fly high Angel till we meet again.

You taught me so much, gave me everything I could have ever dreamed of in a wife and mother. Jamie I am shattered without you. All I wanted for us to grow old together and help our daughters raise their children just like ours have. I will be strong for a our girls, they are the most amazing children.
