Marilyn Foster left a message on September 4, 2021:
Aunt Jean was a strong, independent woman, her own person who enjoyed sports especially skiing into her 50’s while living in California and Colorado. She enjoyed bowling and was on a bowling league for IBM. As long as I can remember her favorite sport was baseball which she tried not to miss watching on TV. She liked to fish at Clearlake even before she lived there after she retired. We: Aunt Jean, Dad (her brother), Larry and I would make trips there to fish when we shared a home in San Jose. She was an avid reader. When we visited her in later years she liked playing games, cards and dominoes. Before her last few years in Greenville, she lived in Kelseyville, California where her nephew Ken Kearse lives and her late niece Brenda Poe lived before moving to Texas. Aunt Lucille, her late sister and Uncle Hinton, live in Nice (Clearlake). As sisters they shared many years of happy family memories. She was very close Ken after her son Keith died in 1999. Ken often took her out to dinner and helped her when she need something repaired in her home. This is the Aunt Jean I knew and remember. ❤️
