Jean Cook Duvall, 94, of Greenville, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021.
Born in Jackson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Micajah and Euphrasia Martin Cook.
Jean retired from IMB Corporation in San Jose after 30 years of dedicated service. She lived most of her life in California, but moved to South Carolina in 2016 to live with her niece, Mildred Kingbury until her passing in 2018. Her nephew, Michael B. Cook and his wife, Nancy then became caregivers until their passing in 2020, when her great nieces and nephews then made sure Jean was well taken care of.
Jean’s memory will continue on by her niece, Marilyn Foster; great nieces and nephews, Dee Ann McCall and husband, Tony, Robert Cook and wife, Ginger, Steven M. Cook and wife, Kathie Cook, David Cook and wife, Deanna Weinschenk, Mark Kingsbury and wife, Sharon, Catherine Blair and husband, Evan; and numerous other loving family members.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her only son, Keith Elliott Cook; and siblings, Lester, Guy, Howard, Claude, Winford, O’Neal, W. M. Cook, Jr., and Lucille Cook.
A graveside service to celebrate Jean’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
