I am sad to hear of Jean's passing but I know she leaves her family with a wealth of loving memories.
I worked with Jean in the library at Furman for many years. She was such an institution here. We had many celebrations and social times to which she would bring her wonderful dishes. She made the best coconut layer cake I have ever eaten! A true Southern lady.
