Dear Bill and Family, We met Jean and Bill in Pasadena Texas in 1956. Betsy was just a toddler. We were all part of a "young married couples" group at the Pasadena Presbyterian Church. We have kept touch ever since. Jean and Bill were such great friends. We send our love to you, Bill, and pray that you will find ways to go forward without Jean. We will miss your Christmas Cards. With love, Faye and Claude

So many fond and loving memories of growing up three houses down from the Rawls family, from watching Dark Shadows after school with Betsy to trying to hide from Blair and Leslie because we were “older and too cool” for the little kids. Through all our antics, Mrs. Rawls would just laugh, shake her head and say she “didn’t have time for our mess”. She always welcomed me at their table, knowing full well I had already eaten a ton at my house ?. She celebrated all our growing milestones, from Betsy and I having a wreck the first day driving to school because we “were yack yack yacking” to spend the night parties, graduation then launching to college. Mrs. Rawls loved Avon bath products, powders and lotions and they were fun to get into. Mrs. Rawls loved their pets as much as she loved everyone else, and the pooches always ate well. ? And through all the years, she loved Mr. Rawls, her family and friends with no doubt, and loved God above all. You will be missed so very much, Mrs. Rawls. Rest in the peace and comfort you well deserve. ????????? Sherrie and Tim

Bill, Just received the obit for Jeanette from one of the Rex nurses. Sorry to hear the news about your wife, but I had to send you a note. You will always be Wimp Rawls from Western Ave to me. I have lost contact with the Western Ave. gang. Used to see Hazel at the High School reunions. My wife (Norma Pittman) graduated from Rex in 1955. We both are still living but in a retirement home in Greensboro, NC. Hope you are doing fine. Carroll Wiggs
