Jimmie David Hoyle, 77, of Piedmont, loving husband of Linda Fleming Hoyle, died Friday, February 19, 2021.

Born in Polkville, NC, he was the son of the late James and Elizabeth White Hoyle.

Jimmie was a US Army veteran, and was retired from Fluor after 30+ years of service.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Brad Hoyle; four daughters, Beth White, Becky Hoyle, Donna Dor, and Lisa Henderson; and is “Papa” to six grandchildren, Mikeljon White, Emma White, Kensley Jordan, Isabella Hoyle, Maddie Hoyle, Alec Henderson.

Mr. Hoyle is preceded in death by his grandson, Thomas Campbell.

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 5, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Masks are required in all Thomas McAfee Funeral Home locations and guests are strongly encouraged to wear them.
