You have been the best father in law a shy girl could ask for. My first memory of meeting you is sitting on the couch. I was having dinner with the family for the first time and I was very nervous. You all were watching football. Mr. Childs yelled and clapped his hands. I almost jumped off the couch. Mr. Childs turns to me and says "I guess your daddy doesn't watch football does he?" I laughed and said "No sir he doesn't".
His love for God, his family was always evident by his hard work and joy when anyone walked through the door. Heaven is so much sweeter now. I love and thank you Mr. Childs for making me feel like a part of the family.
