John was a good gentle man. We went to war against each other in middle school and high school, then became good friends after that. I was just thinking of him 2 days ago. He brings a smile to my face when I think of him. Good man.

So sorry to hear about John. I have fond memories of John and hanging out with Nancy at Paris Mt Park swimming. John was always a protector. The guy in the neighborhood to come to our rescue if we needed him. Something I remember walking home from League Middle School with a black and white big check coat and plaid pants, he told me he had some advice and that I shouldn’t mix checks with plaids. My mom got a good laugh when I told her. He was a good guy. My deepest sympathies.
