Joshua Mitchell Hardin, 21, of Easley, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021.
Born in Greenville, he was the cherished son of Paul “Mitch” and Deanna Spalding Hardin.
He was a member of Hunts Memorial Baptist Church of Easley.
Josh enjoyed going “mudding”, riding on trails, working on small engines and cars.
He loved hanging out with his friends especially at the lake. He never met a stranger and had the ability to make people smile and laugh no matter what the situation or circumstance was. Josh was a prankster at heart and was always playing tricks on his family and friends. Josh was a new father and the love of his life was his son, Gunner.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his adoring wife, Rachel Bates Hardin; his precious baby boy, Gunner Paul Hardin; brother, Darin Hardin; maternal grandparents, Bob and Catherine Spalding; in-laws, Harley D. and Sandy Bates; brother-in-law, Alex Holbrooks (Kendall) and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and his very best friends, Chase Allison, Henry Williams, and Dawson Trimnal.
Josh was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Paul Jr. and Gloria Hardin.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 12:00 o’clock noon in the Northwest Chapel.
