What a wonderful person she was. She always greeted me with her cild hands on my forehead, because she knew that it helped my headaches. She was full of compassion, love for others, had a gentle touch, and never assumed she knew the answer to everything. She will truly be missed by many. The old saying is true for her “cold hands, warm heart”.
Linda Kempston left a message on August 4, 2021:
Words cannot express the sadness I feel. I still want her to be here, not there. There will be a day when I will feel it’s finally okay, probably when I’m closer to being there. People say we are in a better place being there but our ties to our loved ones are so strong that we can’t imagine anything better. We have to believe that God’s love for us exceeds everything else and that his Son Jesus paid the ultimate price so that we can live with him forever in Heaven. We must have faith in that. I am so sorry that Joy’s family has to bear this pain for now. She loves you all so much. .

Joyjan. We sure had our laughs on those many phone calls. Glad we had our time together. You sure loved that mobile scooter in disney. Smiled the entire time. I will miss all of our time together. I will always have a smile on my face remembering those calls and those times together.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Joy has her wings now! She was such a wonderful person inside and out. I still remember when she first became an airline stewardess. She looked so great in her uniform. She told me she loved meeting all the people that flew with her. Her smile was infectious. God speed for healing. ???

Joy was a beautiful person inside and out. Joy lived up to her name and was always a joy to be around and was so easy to love. I am so sorry to hear of her passing and will always remember her kindness and love that she showed to me and the beautiful daises she gave me from her garden. There is no doubt she is with her love Jerry and watching over each of you.
