I am so sorry to hear about Julianna. I fondly remember the Ballenger ladies, allowed Mrs Bunchie to be part of the group despite the fact no one in our family worked for Ballenger. The bridge playing, birthday lunches which included much debate over properly splitting the check. They watched out for each other and their spouses as time began to catch each of them. Julianna is truly a child of God, loving others as she was taught and setting a great example for us to follow. She like the Ballenger group especially Mrs Weeks'.

Our family has been friends with the Weeks since the late fifties early sixties as neighbors on Tranquil Ave. Later in life my mom and Julianna moved across the street from each other again in Glennbrook and were once again able to share their lives and a cup of coffee anytime they wanted. Julianna was a friend you could count on in good times and struggles. One special birthday activity they shared was to exchange a common glass filled with a chocolate treat to recognize their birthdays. I will always cherish my memories of her sitting with my mom sharing life together.

Lucy and all, How very sad to hear of Juliana passing away. That beautiful and kind pillar of strength, who loved her family ceaselessly .. I admired and respected her so much. I always enjoyed hearing her view on the things that we thought only pertained to younger people. Some of my favorite memories, in life, are of us hanging out in her kitchen, smoking cigarettes and gossiping, and blowing the smoke into the fan on the stove.. She seemed to take it all in stride, like nothing ever surprised her.. She was a true Southern Lady, in every way there is. There is an enormous hole in the world tonight.. All the love in the world, Resi

Paul and I join in letting you all know how much we loved your Mother. May her precious soul be resting in peace and may you all be comforted by the many memories you shared. Juliana lived life to the fullest and was a great role model to all who knew her. Her kindness will always be a part of what we both remember about your mother. To us she loved "with an everlasting love" and Juliana will be missed but a smile will come to our faces when we think about this lovely lady. Sending hugs to you all.
