June Thompson

Gloria June Thompson, 81, wife of James Thompson, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021.

Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late George and Virginia Pickens Wallace.

After many years of service, June retired from Michelin and enjoyed attending the senior adult activities at Taylors First Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband of 63 years, left to cherish June’s memory are her son, Wayne Thompson and his wife, Donna; daughter, Annette Thompson; granddaughter, Amber Bradley; great grandson, Ace Bradley; and sister, Dale Northridge.

In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her two brothers, Edward Wallace, and James Wallace.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast with visitation to follow. June will be entombed in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
