Junior White, 88, husband of Loretta Taylor White, of Greenville, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021.

Born in Tellico Plains, TN, he was the son of the late J.S. & Arkie White.

Mr. White proudly served his country in the United State Air Force. After a career in maintenance in textiles, he enjoyed his time tinkering and collecting many things. Junior was known to be a “Jack of all Trades.”

In addition to his loving wife of 68 years, he is survived by son, Robert “Randy” White (Renee), grandson, Daniel White (Kellie); granddaughters, Layla Coley and Robin McDonald (Matthew); great-grandchildren, Axel, Josephine, Raelee and Cole; and a sister.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

A visitation will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest, with the funeral service following at 1:30 p.m. in the Northwest Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

In addition of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 113 Mills Avenue, Greenville, SC 29605.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Interim Hospice for their loving care of Junior during his illness.

I have known Junior and his wife for many years, and we have been good friends through out those years. I worked with Junior at GE in security. He always had a smile on his face no matter what.
