Katherine Parrott O?Malley, 84, of Greenville, died July 20, 2004 at Greenville Memorial Medical Center. Born in Florence, SC, she was a daughter of the late Walter V. and Katherine McTaggart Parrott and the widow of John Joseph O?Malley. She attended Winthrop University and was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church. Surviving are two sons, W. Brian O?Malley and his wife, Elaine, of Charlotte, NC, and Robert P. O?Malley of Boston, MA; four grandchildren, Shannon, Michael, Megan and Devin O?Malley; three sisters, Sarah Montgomery of Florence, SC, Mary Lollis of Lexington, SC and Helen Kubala, Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by a son, John Joseph O?Malley, III. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 Noon Thursday at St. Mary?s Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will be in Sharon Memorial Park, Charlotte, NC at 4: 00 p.m. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown.
