Sally Kathryn Walden

Sally Kathryn Walden, 89, wife of the late Charles Walden, died Sunday, March 27, 2022.

Born in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Kathryn Nease Lacock.

Mrs. Walden was a faithful member of Mauldin United Methodist Church. She was an exceptional mother who dedicated her career to raising and taking care of her children.

She is survived by children Kathryn (Eric) Fraint, John (Arlene) Walden, Donna (Phil) Gaines, and Chris Walden; sister Elizabeth (Peter) Glover; thirteen grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughter Cynthia A. Henderson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.

A Visitation will be held Friday, April 01, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Mauldin UMC followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Mauldin UMC Cemetery.
