Keith Douglas Lovegrove passed away Monday, August 15, 2022, after a brief battle with ALS at the age of 63.
He leaves behind his precious wife of 36 years, Teresa Gaye, who was a loving and tireless caregiver during his illness; daughter, Casey Lovegrove (Tim Baumann); son, Christopher Lovegrove; mother, Carol Lovegrove; two sisters, Holly (Allen) Hodges and Susan (Michael) Bartlett; brother Gary (Vicki) Lovegrove; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Keith enjoyed many activities: yard work, college football, old movies, classical music, classic rock, and spending time with his ginger cat, Pixar.
Keith wore many hats in the workplace: real estate property manager, professional book buyer, book fair representative, Michelin temp worker, and Lowe’s delivery driver.
Keith’s faith in Christ gave him peace during his final, difficult months, and he is now enjoying heaven with a brand new body.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, August 21, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown. Visitation will immediately follow the service in the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A private burial will be held in Graceland East Memorial Park, Simpsonville.
