Brian Keith Scott, 60, husband of Christel Weidert Scott, died Monday, April 5, 2021.

Born in Fountain Inn, SC, he was the son of Sue Manley Scott of Taylors and the late Preston Scott.

Keith was a constant “joker” and always enjoyed a good laugh. He loved to hunt, and he raced cars at the Laurens County Speedway. For many years, he was a trimmer in the family upholstery business, Scott’s Trim Shop. Keith was a member of Conestee Church of God of Prophecy.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his sons, Travis Scott and his wife, Tabatha, and Tyler Scott and his wife, Jaime; three grandchildren, Sawyer, Sadie, and Emersyn; step daughter, Nicole Trosclair; and two step grandchildren, Drake and Dillon.

He was preceded in death by his step son, Dylan Bonck.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Conestee Church of God of Prophecy followed by the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be in Cannon Memorial Park.

Friends are encouraged to leave condolence messages for the family.
