Kenneth Dale Kirby, 48, of 14 Delta Drive died Friday, May 7, 2004 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Husband of Debbie Cobb Kirby, he was born in Greenville County and was the son of Dexter Kirby and the late Margaret Worrell Kirby. Mr. Kirby was employed by Michelin U.S.I., Donaldson Center and was a member of Westville Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife and father are two daughters, Christy K. Brown Michael of Marietta and Shannon Kirby of Easley, a sister, Pamela Woody of Easley, a brother, Stanley Kirby of Greenville and one grandson, Austin Tant of Easley. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Funeral services will be Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Westville Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Blume officiating and Rev. Leon Johnson assisting. Pallbearers are Bobby Cobb, Thomas Cobb, James Parker, Rick Worrell, Danny McAlister, Kevin Woody and Richard Bruce. The body will lie in state thirty minutes prior to the service. Memorials may be made to ALS Fund, % Muscular Dystrophy Assn., 3561 E. Sunrise Drive, Tucson, AZ 85718. The family is at the residence.
