Kenneth Lewis Brown, 70, of Easley, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022.

Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late James and Wilma Lewis Brown.

Kenneth was raised in the Berea area, and throughout his life enjoyed everything the area had to offer. He graduated from Clemson University with a major in forestry. Kenneth loved the outdoors, and could identify all trees and plants. His presence will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by sisters, Linda Ard (Danny) and Lin Cunningham (Keith); aunt, Martha Guy (Paul); and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Robert Brown.

I remember Ken well in high school. My memories are of a kindred soul and a kind, laid back person. May you rest in peace Ken.

Alphabetical seating was the standard throughout our years in school. I sat beside Ken from the 4th grade until graduation night in 1969. The only time I dreaded sitting close to Ken was in art class. He was very talented and we all envied his work. My heart goes out to the Brown family. Your commitment, love, and support of Ken is a shining example of how we all should support our loved ones during these struggles. RIP, my friend. Stan Crumley
