I was blessed to have met Kim back in 1983 through Suzanne Knight. Suzanne and I bowled together and I was fortunate to meet Pam, therefore meeting Kim. We all became great friends and shared many times of laughter and fun!! I loved going to Kim's house and being able to eat the many wonderful things that she cooked and baked. I will always remember her infectious smile and joyful laughter!!! I love you Kim!! We will resume our friendship when we meet again in heaven!! Until that time, I will miss you!!!

I met Kim 40 years ago when moving to Greenville. We had some great trips to Cherokee and Maggie Valley during our high school days. You didn't hang around Kim if laughing and having a good time weren't for you. We shared many laughs together. She was always very dedicated at church and loved helping with the children. I'll see you again one day.

I didn't know Kim well, but I knew from Pam that she was a good person. I'm so sorry for your loss. She had a lot of life left to live. But just remember, she isn't hurting anymore, she isn't in pain or anything else. She's able to see her family, her mom, again. She's at peace. My condolences to her family. 💙

I met Kim in 2007 at KCon. I was going through a hard time and had decided to go to this book conference in NOLA for a favorite author. I didn't know anyone really but had needed to get away and find myself again. I guess I looked lost because one of Jack and Teresa pulled me over to Pam and Kim and basically told me to stick with them and they would take care of me. They definitely did. They took me in and loved me as if I were their family. They made me laugh and feel like myself again. They introduced me to the other precious women who would become the family of my heart as well. I will my sister of the heart.

I met this precious lady several years ago. We immediately “ clicked” and it was as if we had known each other for years. We related to each other in so many ways, from our families to fence people lol. We laughed together and even cried together a few times. She was my dear friend and I am going to miss her so much. Fly high my precious friend. We will definitely be reunited in Heaven.

To Dusty, Kristen, Arianna, Adeline and Avery and your families I could tell you the exact moment that Kim was absolutely in love with you. It wasn't when she told me she was in love with you a few months after you started dating nor when she told me that you were "her heart" a couple months she started unofficially living with you. It wasn't when Kim stated that not only did she love you, Dusty but she loved your girls and the rest of the family and that y'all loved her in return. She felt you and the family was where she belonged. You guys completed her and made her so happy. She loved her grandbabies and adored being called "Big Ganny". Said that there was nothing like hearing those little voices screaming when y'all video chatted. No, the exact moment I knew you and your family were "End game" as the saying goes was the fact she became...A. Morning. Person! Kim went from hating waking up in the morning to loving it because she just plain loved hanging out with you. When Kim said she liked waking up at butt crack of dawn because you did, Dusty. I knew she was completely in love! LOL! In all seriousness thank you for loving my friend and making her so happy. And while I grieve that she only had a short time with you and the girls, I know it was fully packed with love and joy. Y'all were such blessings to her. Love, Jacs
