COVID has impacted our society in many ways. Deborah and I have not been in church at Taylor’s First Baptist Church since March of this year because of the pandemic. We did not realize that Larry had passed away until today. Donna and Larry used to be in a Life Group class which I co-taught. Donna we are so sorry for your loss. Even though we know you miss Larry now, we are thankful that Larry knew the Lord and you will ultimately see him again in Heaven.

Donna, I'm sorry to hear about Larry's passing. I have great memories of us all worshiping together at Buncombe Road Baptist. Praying for you and sending love.

I was lucky to have met Larry while on the Ingles frozen set team. He accepted me, an outspoken Yankee woman, for who I was, thou he lowered and shook his head a whole bunch at me when I spoke my opinion.  Larry was one of the few who knew of my last cancer bout- he knew I was struggling, and instead of making a bid deal outta helping me, he asked me to do HIM a favor by riding along with him for ice cream sets. I will always treasure the hours of conversations I had with him. And I can tell you how much he treasured his family above everything- well with the Gamecocks a close second!!! Donna- know he loved you and your daughter, your grands, over everything! I will miss him every day!

Ken and I were blessed to become friends with Larry and Donna. Our sons were in the same class at Riverside, and we all enjoyed sports.  We were in the same Sunday School class at Taylors.  We will miss him as he was always so kind and caring.  Our prayers are with Donna, Lindsey, Rodney, and the grandchildren who always brought a smile to his face whenever he mentioned them.
