I was blessed to have such a loving grandmother who played a very special role in my life. I remember interviewing her for a school project. She described her childhood fondly- growing up on a farm with all her siblings. She told the best stories! She loved life and it showed. She gave me memories of delicious cooking, beach and boat trips, collecting sand dollars and visiting Walt Disney World, just to name a few. I will never forget how she and Grandpa played Canasta with Mom and Dad. There was always country music playing in the background, banter and competition...And, didn't we all love her iced tea! She always made sure we wore sunscreen in sunny Florida. Whenever you visited Gram, she took great pride in being a doting hostess and you never walked away hungry or without a smile on your face. I will miss her immensely.

I will be forever grateful for having the the privilege of knowing Lillian, my dearest Mother-in-law, who was in my life for almost 50 years. We shared many wonderful memories together especially when she and her husband, "Gene", were living in Florida. "Mom"; as I always referred her to, and I had a very close relationship where I could share my deepest problems, concerns, worries and emotions with. We laughed and cried together during times when me and her son's children were going through different milestones growing up. We wept together after loosing her son and my soul mate! I will sorely miss this strong, loving, caring and courageous woman that I deeply loved so very much! ❤️
