Earlier, I sent a message to you, Lillian's family, on the Tribute Wall. At that time I was unaware that there was a more personal way to communicate our thoughts through Hugs from Home, such a sweet service. As I told you in my two earlier posts on the Tribute Wall, we loved and cherished Lillian across a lot of years, but, because of Covid 19 and our ages/health status, we would be unable to attend her service today. I hope that each of you will access the Tribute Wall and see our personal comments. Lillian Graham was one of God's most faithful and finest. We extend our sympathy to each of you as you grieve this earthly separation and honor her life lived in and through the power of Jesus Christ, her Lord, Savior, Redeemer, and "friend." Bill and Fletch Leslie...members of Pelham Road Baptist Church, Lillian's church . As long as she could she attended. She made a difference!

I remember having the opportunity to talk with Mrs Graham at the wedding of her granddaughter Keri. It was such a pleasure to get to know her.

To Lillian's Family...In my earlier message, I forgot to tell you that, though we will not be physically present at the service, our hearts will be with all of you.  Because of age and compromised health we have not been out and about since February due to the Covid 19 pandemic.  We will be holding you close in our thoughts and prayers when you gather as a family to honor Lillian's life and her legacy.    Bill and Fletch Leslie

Lillian was our friend across a lot of years.  We three were all members of Pelham Road Baptist Church.  Bill and I knew her when she was vibrant though, even then, she struggled with some health issues.  Lillian was faithful to Pelham Road, attended as long as she could prior to moving to Columbia.  As her health declined, when we talked by phone, she'd tell me that she had her clothes all laid out, ready to get dressed for church on Sunday morning, then she'd awake on Sunday morning and, as she told me, "just couldn't do it."  Her heart was willing but her precious little body was not in agreement.  For years, I have written her on a regular basis.  I am pretty wordy.  One time she told me that she loved getting my letters but would sometimes have to put them aside and read them a bit at the time over several days.  That just made me giggle.  Lillian was gentle, kind, refined, caring, and a marvelous role model of a Christian lady.  She lived her faith.  We all saw that.  Lillian was dearly loved, treasured, and we will miss our contacts....grateful that our paths crossed, thanks be to God.  We extend our love and deepest sympathy to each sweet family member left to mourn her death and celebrate her beautiful, faithful, Christian life.  Lillian is now in the PRESENCE of GOD HIMSELF...His gift to her for giving her life to Him!           With our deepest sympathy,  Bill and Fletch Leslie
