Lillian Josephine Doering, 87, beloved wife of Walter G. Doering, passed away, Wednesday, August 4, 2021.

Born in Bernville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Karol and Josephine Stajkowski Symanowicz.

Lillian was a dedicated minister of Jesus Christ. She was always ready to talk about Him. More than a few people testified they had been healed after Lillian prayed.

In addition to her husband Walter, she is survived by her children, Lila Turnquist (Steve), Walter K. Doering (Kay), Anna Kladden (Jeff), Laura Doering (Chris Van Proyen); grandchildren, Jennifer Brooks (Pete), Carolyn Boveington (Kade), Stephanie Tuemmel (Martin), Kathryn, Caroline and Julia Doering; and great-children, Aurora, Seraphina, and Genevieve Tuemmel.

The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest Chapel.

Miss you Mom so much. I know I will see you in heaven but I wish you were still here.

one of many things i remember about Aunt Lillian is how she and Uncle Walt opened their home for us to visit in the summer... they never realized what it meant to me to be able to have that vacation.. also taking me to florida for my graduation... thank you Aunt Lillian and Uncle Walt for the awesome memories.... will miss you tons ...

Ms. Lillian & I met at the Word Explosion event a few years ago in Columbia SC. Her joy and love for Jesus just flowed out of her. It was such a great blessing to get to know her & love her. May God's peace comfort each of you until the day that we join her in Heaven. What a precious gift Ms Lillian was to so many.

I will never forget her bright smile that she always had, her smile was so contagious that you couldn’t help but smile yourself. I will always remember at the Reunions her telling me that i have a bright future ahead of me and always motivating me to push my limits. Aunt Lillian was always the sweetest woman and she will never be forgotten by any of us.

I love you all and sorry for the loss of Aunt Lillian. Prayers hugs and love❤
