Linda Roche Cason "Lin", 71, wife of Gary Cason, of Easley, died Sunday, April 12, 2020.

Born in Charleston, SC, she was a daughter of the late William and Zellie Jollie Roche.

Linda was an active member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church in Easley, where she was a member of the Abiding Hope Sunday School Class and served in the church choir.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her children, Emile DeCandt (Rhonda), Tammy Follis (Chris), Angie Vickery (Bill) and Lee Cason(Tara); a sister, Charlotte Martinez-Richter; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren on the way.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patty Magnelli.

A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at Graceland West Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brushy Creek Baptist Church,100 Clay St, Easley, SC 29642.

Linda was a beautiful and valued person in our Bishop England Class of 1966 and we’ll all miss her warm endearing smile and personality.

My husband and I met Lin & Gary years ago at Hillsville, Va Flea Market. We always camped out next to them and would race to see which of us were gonna get there first so we could help Gary park the RV and not tear anything up. She will definitely be missed, we will miss seeing her smiling face and awesome personality. Thoughts & prayers to the family we are truly sorry for your loss. Lin was an amazing person with a big heart and will always be an angel.

My first memories of Lin was when she convinced me to join her in the Clown Ministry at Brushy Creek. That is so Lin. She was so good at making others smile. Her smile, humor and love will be so missed. Gary, look to Jesus for comfort during this unimaginable time. Love you man!

Lin was a wonderful person. I always remember being in the choir with her, her concern over my health, her wonderful mother, Zellie, who was in my SS Class. She always sent me cards, etc. Praying for your family and knowing that she and her mom are in heavenly places. Love

I remember Charlotte's little blonde younger sister , Linda. We were neighbors on King St in Charleston,SC. Great memories of those days.

I did not know Linda but I do know she and her husband raised two fine daughters that I do know - Angie and Tammy. May you both find comfort in the memories of your mother and in each other.

Our family loves Lin so much. I’ll never forget how much fun she was on my wedding day as she helped me get to the front of the church and checked me out before I walked down the isle. So many fun memories of her when we were at BCBC. She was loved by everyone. Praying for her sweet family.
