Linda Hughey Johnson, 64, wife of James C. Johnson, Sr., of 5 Fairview Court, died Sunday, June 13, 2004 at Greenville Memorial Medical Center. Born in Greenville County she was the daughter of Louise McCamish Hughey of Greenville and the late Mills Hunter Hughey. Mrs. Johnson was retired from First Citizens Bank. She was a dedicated Christian and a faithful member of Hampton Heights Baptist Church for over 40 years. Surviving in addition to her mother and husband are; a daughter, Joye Johnson Booher of Greenville; three sons, James C. ?Jimmy? Johnson, Jr. of Columbia, Jan F. Johnson of Greenville, Jay H. Johnson of Greenville; a sister, Debbie Hughey Floyd of Norcross, GA.; and five grandchildren, Kristen and Megan Booher, Alexandra Grace Johnson, Hunter B. Johnson, and Cameron Johnson. She was predeceased by a brother, Mills H. ?Bucky? Hughey, Jr. Visitation will be Tuesday June 15, 2004 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 16, 2004 at 11:00 AM at Hampton Heights Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Hampton Heights Baptist Church, 2511 Wade Hampton Blvd., Greenville, SC 29615. The family will be at the home.
