Lois Agnes Flanigan, 82, of Greenville, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021.

Born in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Winford and Beanie Rea Smith Jaynes.

She was a member of Berea Heights Baptist Church where she loved to sing in the choir. Lois was a homemaker and a devoted mother and grandmother to her family.

She is survived by her children, Jacqueline Vandekerhove (Alan) and Jonathan Flanigan (Tonya Doughman); five grandchildren, Michael (Samantha), Jonathan (Jessica) and Tyler (Crystal) Vandekerhove, Autumn (Michael) Phillips, and Ashley (John) Horton; and six great grandchildren; sisters, Joretta Hood and Camilla McCracken; and brothers, Roscoe and twin brother, Lewis Jaynes.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Henry Flanigan in 2020.

A public viewing where she will lie in state will be held on Wednesday, May 26,2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in Greenville Memorial Gardens in Piedmont.

Condolences may be left for the family on the Tribute Wall.
