Quite simply, the most classy lady I've ever known. Beautiful at all ages. Smart, funny, and so talented. She defined "old school southern charm". James, Jane, Susan, and families - please know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am deeply saddened to hear that Lois has passed. Jim , I know she will be deeply missed by you and all your family. Lois was always very happy and always showed a genuine interest in others. I first met the Ashcrafts in the mid 80’s and continued to work with Jim for 37 years before I chose to retire. One my fondest memories was the trip Lois, Jim, Gwen and myself went on to San Francisco. Lois was full of life and made all our trips expectations come to life. She was a very loving and considerate person and she will be missed immensely. Larry Stephens Spartanburg, SC
