She always made me feel like one of the family when I stayed with them! It was so much fun to be with them! I remember hunting fireflies and putting them in jars to take home. It was always an adventure! She was a wonderful aunt, I will miss her so much! All my love to her family!

Dear family of Lona; You don’t know me but I met your mom and dad after a mass at Blessed Trinity. Your dad was wearing a Nebraska sweatshirt and also being from Nebraska we introduced ourselves. And through the years your mother’s and my paths crossed, mainly at church and holy hour. She was a wonderful lovely person who will be missed by many. Sending my sincere condolences and prayers. God bless you all.

Aunt Lona was a big part of my childhood. She made sure I got a religious education. I stayed with her family and took my first communion at their church. I loved staying with them, her home was full of kids and lots of joy!! I thank God upon every remembrance of her!
