Louie Morrison Owens, 81, of 105 Manly Drive, died Tuesday, June 01, 2004 at his residence. Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Robert A. and Louise Craig Owens and husband of the late Roselle Lee Owens. Mr. Owens was retired from Metal Fabricators and was a United States Air Force Veteran having served during WWII. Survivors include a stepson, Kenneth Lee; two grandchildren, Eric Lee and his fiancé, Donna Suttles and Scarlett Lee; five great grandchildren, Brandon Lee, Kendall Lee, Kalia Lee, Adam Suttles, and Rebekah Suttles; one sister, Frances Wilson; one brother, Robert Owens, Jr.; and a niece, Lilla Vaughn and her husband Inman. Graveside services will be Friday June 04, 2004 at 3:00 PM at Graceland Cemetery, West. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Hospice, 414-A Pettigru Street, Greenville, SC 29601 The family will be at their respective homes.
