Margie Burnell Springfield

Margie Burnell Craigo Springfield, 91, of 209 YMCA St. died Tuesday, June 15, 2004, at St. Francis Hospital. Widow of Clyde A. Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Robert Fleet and Annie Mae Swann Craigo. Mrs. Springfield was a homemaker. She was a member of City View First Baptist Church for more than 83 years and was also active in the T.E.L. Sunday School Class and the WMU. Surviving are three daughters, Annette Miller and husband, Jerry, of Travelers Rest, Ilith Young and husband, William, of Greenville; and Vicky Madden and husband, John, also of Greenville; a son, Clyde Alton Springfield and wife, Becky, of Dacusville; a brother, Sammy Gene Craigo and wife, Barbara, of Greenville; two special sisters-in-law, Lois Craigo and Dodie Craigo both of Greenville; nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 15 great-grand-children; and one great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at City View First Baptist Church with burial at Graceland Cemetery, West. The family is at the residence.
