Margie Vaughn Robinson

Margie Vaughn Robinson, 79, of Ridgecrest Drive, died June 3, 2004 at National Health Care, Mauldin. Born in Pelzer, she was a daughter of the late George T. and Josie Rose Vaughn and the widow of Ralph H. Robinson. Before her retirement she was employed with Woolworth Department Store. She was a member of Second Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Libby Wampole and her husband, Glenn, Sr. of Greer; a sister, Leila V. Roach, a brother, Harold Vaughn, and a niece reared in the home, Frances Campbell, all of Greenville; five grandchildren, Glenn Wampole, Jr. and his wife Melissa, Brian Wampole and his wife, Virginia, Ashley Linck and her husband, Troy, Cayce Wampole, and Whitney Wampole; four great-grandchildren, Josh Padgett, Alex Wampole, Isabella Wampole, and Zoe Wampole. Memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church, 304 E. Camperdown Way, Greenville, SC 29601. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel, with visitation prior to the service, from 2:00 until 2:50 p.m. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family is at 119 Dartmoor Drive, Greer.
