Martha Elizabeth Forrester

Martha Elizabeth Forrester, 75, wife of Don Forrester, went home Thursday, March 24, 2022.

Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late John and Azilee Spencer Bryant.

Martha was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church where she was very involved in the music program, following twenty years of faithful service as an organist at Airport Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved the Lord and her family, and her presence will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her. Her legacy and memory will be carried on by her loved ones.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by daughters, Lisa Lark, Tresa Lyle, and Tricia Thomas; grandsons, Loren Forrester (Ashley), Benjamin Lark (Elizabeth), Dustin Lark (Bo), Cameron Lark, Eliot Thomas (Isabella), and Jack Lyle; granddaughters, Elly Griffith (Matt), and Lydia Lyle; great-granddaughters, Ella Pike-Lark, Saylor Lark-Griffith, Piper Griffith, Everly Lark, and Halen Rose Forrester; great-grandsons, Silas Lark, Roman Lark, John Duke Lark, Chad Forrester and John Scott Forrester.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons, Scott Forrester and Tony Forrester; sister, Deborah Sturgill; and brother, Greg Bryant.

A visitation will be held Sunday, March 27, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast, with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Southeast Chapel.
