My deepest condolences to the Robertson family. I will always remember Mr. Robertson as a quiet and very kind man who was hard-working and always had a twinkle in his eye. He was a big part of my childhood, and I have so many wonderful memories. Mrs. Robertson, Angela, Andrea, and Alex, I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Kirsten

I only had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Marvin for a little over four years. He and I seemed to connect quickly. I really enjoyed spending time with him and listening to him reminisce over years past on the farm. I learned a lot from him. He felt like my own dad more than a father-in-law. I will greatly miss our talks. I am happy to know that he is walking on the streets of gold now with our Heavenly Father now.

We grew up together in that little white frame house on Main St in Travelers Rest next door to our Grandfather and Miss Becky. You punched my dolls eyes into the back of her head and made the “mama” box stop working and then you celebrated when I came to the house to retrieve my suit case and told you I had eloped. You were happy to get my room! You brought Eva to America and deposited her at my home until the two of you could get married. We have always been there and I can’t adjust to your being gone. You and Eva have made a special family and I grieve for her and your children and grandchildren.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

We send deep sympathy to Eva and this lovely family on this great loss. Marvin was a great farmer and kind man. We knew them through my former, now deceased husband, associated with Eva at the hospital. He was the strawberry king to us. Prayers for the family and many friends. RIP, Sir.
