Mary Kathryn “Kathy” Adams, 70, of Greenville, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021.

Born in Greenville, SC she was a daughter of the late Gus Allen and Hazel Adams.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and was employed by Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Kathy is survived by her sister, Carolyn Tara; two nieces, Jessica and husband, Edi Degasperi and Jennifer Tara; her brother, Gus “Buddy” Allen Adams; one nephew, Christopher “Chris” Daniel Adams; one great nephew, McKensie; and one great niece, McKayla.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by a sister, Rhonda Paulette Adams.

A public viewing will be held Monday, June 21, 2021 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown followed by the funeral service in the chapel. A Committal Service will be held Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at Graceland West Cemetery.
