My goodness. I just found out about Mary Lou. I have fond memories of working with her at Vorys. We shared an office with our dear friend Judy. I remember her as being very helpful to me and kind. I know she loved her family! She will be missed. May you all find peace.

It was a shock to see Mary Lou's obituary. What a remarkable woman. I remember so many things about her and your wonderful, capable family. We admired Elmer, Mary Lou, Bruce, Marsha, and Paula very much. And, then to find that we were Garrison cousins delighted us both, I think. How could we have met in Reynoldsburg Ohio at St. PiusX Church and School?? She has left you all, those wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren such a strong legacy. Love and Prayers to you, each. I know she is in Heaven. Ann Armstrong

My deepest sympathy to Paula and Marsha and their families and to Bruce's family too. I almost called Mary Lou earlier this week and was certainly surprised to see her obituary in the Columbus Dispatch on Thursday. Had I known earlier, I would have attended her funeral by Zoom. I knew Mary Lou the 22 years she was at Vorys. She always had a smile on her face. Mary Lou was a wonderful woman who dearly loved her family. I will miss her Christmas letter wherein she updated us every year with her family's lives. She was grateful to all of them for the love and attention they gave her. There is not a moment of doubt in my mind that Mary Lou is in heaven reunited with Elmer and Bruce and all who have gone before. My heart is sad for all of you, but I know that Mary Lou left you with wonderful memories you will have forever. God be with you during this painful time. Eleanor Meekins, Columbus, OH.

My sympathies to your family. Enjoyed many Fridays with your mom at McDonalds after Mass at St. Pius. She has kept in touch with a Christmas letter every year since moving to South Carolina. Always felt a special connection since my daughter, Julie, lived in Simpsonville for several years. Thank you for having the obituary local. Rose Crane
