Mary was a dear cousin and a bright star in every aspect of her life. She was a star in diving, swimming, golf and just being a BEAUTIFUL LADY! True southern charm defined her! Now she shines brightly in heaven and leaves us such a marvelous legacy. Children, you are blessed.

To Mary's children and family,
I met Mary when grammar school promoted us to Junior High, and loving sports as Mary did we ended up teammates and this continued through Greenville Senior High School, and continued until God called her home for eternal rest. Mary was truly a lifetime friend and a void has been left that no one can fill. I am thankful for our friendship to have lasted a lifetime! My deepest sympathy to all of you.  She is now a "star of Royal Beauty Bright". Merry Christmas in Heaven Mary, I will always remember what a great friend you were.

My family were members at Paris Mountain Country Club back in the day (I am over 65 years old now). I think Mary knew I could swim/dog paddle to safety...she threw me in the pool and said "you sink or swim"....well I think I did a little of both and made it to safely back to edge of the pool.  To this day I LOVE TO SWIM!!!  Thanks Mary for believing in me!!!
