Maude Kerns Rogers, 92, of 804 Wenwood Circle, died June 24, 2004 at her home. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late William Stanhope and Gertrude Johnson Kerns and the widow of Dr. B.F. Rogers, Sr. Before her retirement, she was an Assistant Children?s Librarian for the Greenville County Library System. Mrs. Rogers was a member of Pendleton Street Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Ruth R. Hall of Greenville; three sons, Ben F. Rogers, Jr. and his wife, Judy, of Easley, J. Don Rogers and his wife, Pat, of Woodruff, and David K. Rogers and his wife, Brenda, of York; nine grandchildren, Greg Hall, Mark Hall, Scott Rogers, Jennifer R. Garrison, Dean Rogers, Craig Rogers, Alan Rogers, Todd Rogers, and Holly Rogers; five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Chris Rogers, four sisters and three brothers, and a son-in-law, James Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Interim Hospice, 775 Spartan Blvd., Spartanburg, SC 29301. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Remembrance Chapel of Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held prior to the service, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. The families are at their respective homes.
