Michael David Sayegh, 40, beloved husband of Julia Sayegh, died Saturday, November 20, 2021.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of Paul and the late Judith Zadrozny Sayegh.
Michael started his life as the baby of all his brothers and cousins. He grew up playing multiple sports but his love was baseball. He played baseball all four years at Emory University, Atlanta, GA, and that is where he met his love Julia. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Mercer University and his MBA from Clemson University. He enjoyed traveling to the beach, cheering on the NY Yankees, and loved coaching his sons in sports. He was the life of the party and could make friends with anyone. Michael found the most joy spending time with family and friends. He impacted everyone he met and will be lovingly remembered.
In addition to his wife and father, Michael is survived by his two sons, Michael and Nicholas; two brothers, Paul Sayegh and Robert Sayegh; step-mother, Trudy Sayegh; his father-in-law, Michael Cain and wife, Martha; niece, Annelise Sayegh; nephew, Paul Sayegh; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast. The Funeral Service will be Monday, November 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Fellowship Greenville. Burial will be in Graceland East Memorial Park.
