Michael James Shimko Jr., 68, husband of Marian E. Shimko, died Saturday, April 29, 2023.

Born in Hazleton, PA, he was the son of the late Michael and Florence Gasper Shimko.

As well as his wife of 49 years, he is survived by two daughters, Michele Shimko and Christine Shimko; three grandchildren, Tiffany Walker, Tyler Walker and Daniel Myatt Jr.; and a sister Sue Rose (John).

He was preceded in death by sister Joan Hershberger; and brother-in-law, Rick Hershberger.
