At my father's funeral, I remember clearly Mr. C making a proclamation that going forward the Schichtel's and the Casazza's were one family. I had always felt that way but it gave me such peace to realize that I really was lucky enough to be a part of 2 families. Families that laugh together, support each other and unfortunately at times, cry together when we lose a piece of those families. We go back so many years and there are so many memories of wonderful, warm and loving times. Mr. C always knew how to bring the humor and boy could he tell a story complete with impersonations. He was unlike anyone I have ever known and he will never ever be replaced in my life. Today, I grieve with you for having to go on without him but I also rest in the peace of knowing that he is reunited with his very best friend and I know he was greeted with a giant bear hug and probably a cold beverage if they serve those in heaven. Thank you for sharing him with me for over 40 years. All our love- Ann and Marty Wannemacher
