Mildred Ivester Jeffcoat Marchbanks

Mildred Ivester Jeffcoat Marchbanks, 96, of Greenville, widow of the late John H. Marchbanks, died, Tuesday, October 27, 2015.

Born in Habersham, GA she was a daughter of the late Roland and Belle Ivester.

Mildred loved crafting and crocheting. Through her crafting and crocheting she touched, many peoples lives.

She is survived by two sons, Phillip Mark Jeffcoat and John Franky Jeffcoat; four daughters, Genever Lee Linsley, Joanne Perry, Clara Nell Estes, and Avanall Myers; grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her loving husband, she is preceded in death by her first husband, John P. Jeffcoat; one sister, Dorothy Ivester; and one brother, Levis Ivester.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Northwest chapel. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, West.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greenville Shriner’s Hospital, 950 W. Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605.
