I have such fun memories of Mildred and Her Majesty. My Mom, Sue Haynes, and her were good buddies and were always playing pranks on the rest of the group. My husband, Paolo Lilla, even had a crush on her! We all worked together back when your work cohorts were your family. She will be missed!
Laura Hodges left a message on October 18, 2021:
I remember Mildred when she lived at Waterstone on Augusta, where my mom lived. Mildred was also so happy and smiling and loved her grandchildren! I saw them sing at Waterstone. A few weeks ago I was at The Gardens at Eastside and saw Mildred. It made me so happy to see her as I often wondered where she had moved. We hugged and she smiled her big beautiful smile. Seeing her obituary was a shock. I am sorry for your loss. I will not be able to attend her service but will have y'all in my prayers....Peace

I was so sorry to hear about Aunt Mildred. She was a one of a kind lady. I have so many memories of my youth spent in Greenville, Maulden and Lake Greenwood. She and my Dad were very close. I sometimes spent summer weeks at her and Uncle Ernest's home. They always treated me like one of their own. They taught me how to ski and Kathy almost drowned me one day but Aunt Mildred made me get back up on ski's and try again. I know Kathy and Toni will miss her greatly along with all the grands and great grands. Love to all. Bruce and Debbie Taffer
