Miles McMillan Batson

January 3, 1997 - March 20, 2023

Miles McMillan Batson, 26, of Greenville, passed away Monday, March 20, 2023.

Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of John David (Chip) and Mary Thrailkill (Jackie) Batson and Janice Shirley Batson.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his step-brother, Mason William Baird; his grandparents, David and Dianne Batson and Bill and Audrey Thompson, as well as other extended family members.

Miles enjoyed soccer, fishing, music, and time spent with friends. He especially loved dogs and animals of all kinds. Miles was kind-hearted with a special ability to connect with others.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Billy Shirley and his uncle, Billy Batson.

The family will have a private memorial service.

I remember Miles as one of my first friends. Me & my sister, Franny Cox, spent many lake days, dinners, and silly moments with Miles & Mason. My childhood was brighter with those moments in it.
